GE Healthcare Coils Service Fulfillment Leader in Aurora, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling, and delivering Coils FRU/Repair parts as part of a Services agreement or order. Responsible liaison between MR Imaging staff and Coils SBU for all manufactured or purchased surface coils for Service.

Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing & improving processes to deliver VCP, fulfillment communication, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping sometimes in a shop structure. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage fulfillment to service including but not limited to: B-bad, PO creation, demand planning, material planning and inventory metrics across a service segment

  • Partner with Global Service Parts Organization to reduce network lead time by implementing Sourced Pole Optimization

  • Inventory management for refurbishment thru development and maintenance of Planning BOM's

  • Work with New Repair Program Leader to identify opportunities to reduce business costs by implementing new repair programs and expire legacy programs

  • Partner with GSPO and regions to optimize the supply chain to and from customers . Sustain working relationship to achieve success

  • Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications

  • Plan for prevention of excess inventory and "stock outs" · Work with all levels of personnel (hourly, supervisory, and general foreperson) in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage

  • Work with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes.

  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation, i.e., Process Development idea sharing with Global repair centers.

  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.

  • Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.

  • Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.

  • Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

  • Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in MR Coils Manufacturing and MR Service Disciplines.
