Job Description Summary

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Support related CT/Vascular/WHXR tubes MFG transfer program execution and process qualification

• Analysis the test results and propose technical solutions on related components including insert (target, bearing) and housing key parts.

• Support team to review candidate suppliers’ capability and capacity from technical view, as market investigation and assessment

• Lead technical discussion with global expertise and build reputation on tube development and manufacturing domain expertise

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality

• Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this

• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action

• as required

• Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design

• Outputs/Program Deliverables.

• Champion continuous improvement activities by initiating process and product quality

• improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree with engineering major or closely related discipline

• More than 5 years’ experience in CT tube or related product development or engineering

• Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems

• Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation

• Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion

• Broad exposure to HW/SW/Systems design, and technical depth in one or more engineering

• disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master degree in the related fields, especially with design experiences in the CT Tube development

• 15+ years of relevant working experience in hardware design & system integration;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task

• Demonstrated problem solving ability and results driven

• Good English skills
