Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and tollgate process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs. Influences the programs to meet customer CTQs.

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ or more years of project management experience; or an associate degree and minimum 8 years of Project Management experience.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated experience working independently and prioritize multiple priorities to meet scheduled completion dates and customer expectations while based in your home office.

  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing team members to achieve mutual goals.

  • Experience with large-scale project management requirements where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service experience working in a clinical environment.

  • Strong executive presence including solid negotiation skills to influence others.

  • Demonstrate experience with setting expectations, identify/mitigate risks, manage multiple project plans, identify, escalate, and resolve issues.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills for all levels of an organization.

  • Demonstrate experience with clearly communicating complex information in an easy-to-understand verbiage.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytic skills.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to communicate status report.

  • Expert with MS: Suite including Power Point, Excel and Word.

  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Lean/Six Sigma certification.

  • Deep understanding of GE Healthcare processes, products and services.

  • Maintains a positive attitude.

  • Dependability with a strong work ethic, maturity and a professional attitude team mentality.

  • Creativity and intelligence – driving process improvement through lessons learned.

  • Listens, consults others and communicates proactively.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $187,680.00-$281,520.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
