In this role you will be responsible for operating in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for build needs for a products in your teams portfolio. You will work with the team and deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of a products features and functionality. Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Interact with Product Manager for the lifecycle of the hardware in the field and for the NPI, engage with hardware vendors and share the requirements.

  • Envision current and future roadmap of the hardware on which software is being deployed.

  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.

  • Ensure to manage all hardware variants exist in the field along with virtual environment deployed at the hospitals.

  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.

  • Drive the engagement with the vendor for the appliance lifecycle.

  • Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.

  • Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.

  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.

  • Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.

  • Mentors junior team members.

  • Expert in Agile Methodology.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 10 years of experience working in IT industry managing digital IT products.

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a technical product manager or equivalent.

Leadership:

  • Proficiency and in-depth technical expertise in Product Management with focus on Lean & Financial KPI.

  • Demonstrate utilization of industry wide accepted Decision Making, Problem Solving, Prioritization and Innovation frameworks.

  • Expert hands-on knowledge is creating product strategy and roadmap planning.

  • Experience in stakeholder management

  • Expert knowledge in managing multiple products and ability to switch between varied product domains.

  • Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of financial KPIs & logistics process KPIs

  • Exposure to custom IT product management and product growth strategy creation.

  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions.

  • Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas.

  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.

  • Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill.

Personal Attributes:

  • Able to work under minimal supervision. Be independent and self-driven.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.

  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.

  • Skilled in providing oversight and mentoring team members. Shows ability to effectively delegate work.
