Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Ultrasound Research Data Strategy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the data strategy for our ultrasound business. They will be instrumental in ensuring the data science teams have the data and images to innovate and develop new solutions for the GE HealthCare Ultrasound platforms- Vivid, LOGIQ, Venue, Verisound, BK, and Voluson.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement long- and short- term clinical data strategy to drive AI development within the Ultrasound business
Establish Data Governance Board, with cross functional engagement, within Ultrasound to develop and drive standardization and efficiency, and improvements to data collection, storage, curation, and analysis processes
Identify and prioritize data needs across all ultrasound businesses and then funnel the needs into work streams, track and communicate progress in delivering and creating data.
Identify, develop, and maintain key partnerships with data providers and establish data collection and licensing activities to address data needs.
Maintain and drive utilization of a data catalog of ultrasound data & images available for AI and product development
Lead Ultrasound effort and to move towards building and managing data pipelines
Serve as ultrasound principal contact to the GEHC Real World Data team to advocate and support progress in ultrasound data acquisition
Serve as research manager for Ultrasound Digital Products; collaborate with business leaders to and lead strategy for clinical evidence and user feedback.
Partner with research program Integrator for project execution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Clinical area, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data management, research management, analytics, or related field.
3+ years of presenting to executives and stakeholders. Being able to talk thru data at the Exec level
Ability to interact fluently with clinicians and data scientists.
Knowledge of data management best practices, data governance, and data quality concepts.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Characteristics
Experience with data tools for image transfer, curation, annotation, and archiving.
Experience with Ultrasound (clinical or technical) is highly preferred
