Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The DRP Planner is part of the DRP team reporting under the Planning and Logistics organisation.

  • The main objective of the DRP Planner is to ensure that the correct inventory of finished goods is available at each DC at all times.

  • Generates Purchase Orders based on available stock on hand, in transit, demand forecast and system parameters.

  • This role is the key connection point on stock management between manufacturing sites, supply planning, demand planning and distribution centres.

  • Following Accountabilities are part of the job:

  • Liaises with Manufacturing(s) sites and CMO to validate plan feasibility and resolve exceptions.

  • Is Responsible for Days on hand metric at DC level. In case of deviations creates and executes action plans.

  • Monitors stock progression (stock out, low stock, excess stock, obsolete stock)

  • Designs and executes action plans to avoid/minimize Obsolete

  • Sets up and maintain parameters in DRP planning systems (SAP, APO, Kinaxis)

  • Provides input to the Safety Stock setting process.

  • Identifies, reviews, resolves, analyses root cause for all exceptions.

  • Supports weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) meetings by advising on DRP related risk and supporting actions needed to deliver on business needs.

  • Participates in the allocation process.

Required Qualifications

  • Master/bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering or Economic Sciences

  • A first experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Planning or Demand Planning

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office packages: Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook

  • Knowledge of SAP/APO/Kinaxis is a plus.

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent analytical skills and excel proficiency.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and lead in a high-pressure environment.

  • Familiarity with supply chain management concepts.

  • Working knowledge of planning processes and systems.

  • While not essential, experience in healthcare would be beneficial.
