As a Logistics Team Lead, you will play a key role ensuring our products reach patients worldwide in a safe and timely manner. Located at our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics production site in Eindhoven, you will manage transportation and related logistics of Class 7 goods and services by heading up a team of 17 direct reports.

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Essential Responsibilities

• Heading a logistics team of 8 coordinators, 2 specialists and 7 students (hiring, evaluating, coaching, instructing);

• Support the team in daily business - logistics of nuclear goods (escalations, prioritization);

• Steering and supervising projects;

• Manage the relationship with carriers, freight forwarders; representing the business by leading monthly and annual business reviews;

• Follow- up on quality incidents - deviations, investigations, change controls, CAPAs;

• Supervise the compliance of the team (trainings, work instructions, overlooking the processes);

• Understanding and controlling logistics costs (airfreight rates, road linehauls, taxes);

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related;

• Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding (control tower is a big plus);

• Some experience in leading a team;

• Fluent English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Full-time availability.

• Experience dealing with exceptional goods such as batteries, oils, alcohol.
