The Radiology Project Manager is responsible for the management of multi-site and multi-product large projects or a program of several projects or workstreams for our large, strategic customers. Works across multiple functional areas to coordinate, collaborate and drive project planning, implementation process and documentation, resource coordination, revenue and billing management and issues resolution of all projects or programs. Work results have a significant impact to the business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions include:

  • Proficiently manage the complexities associated with large, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with executive-level staff.

  • Serve as the “face” of assigned programs and projects, interacting with executive leadership to communicate results, status, risks/issues and mitigation strategies.

  • Concurrently manage multiple projects that are at various stages in the project life cycle.

  • Monitor progress of each assigned program/project against the overall plan and act with urgency to notify leadership of any issues that require resolution.

  • Drive to the root cause of lagging programs/projects and work with executive leadership to define appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Understand the broader business environment, organizational strategy and factor this understanding into customer reviews and finalization of program/project findings and recommendations.

  • Ability to coordinate and challenge senior stakeholders on project and program critical success factors and key performance indicators

  • Coach team members to utilize change management and customer acceptance strategies as needed

  • Communicate strategic alignment and objectives of program/project to teams

  • May direct the work of other project managers as part of an overall program strategy.

  • Prepare and maintain master schedule for assigned programs.

  • Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying project management methodologies and technologies to large scale programs/projects.

  • Serve as a champion of the PMO and project management best practices and standards across the GE HealthCare.

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of all program/project deliverables and analyses.

  • Proactively seek to develop own skills and those of team members.

  • Coordinate cross-functional relationship-building and integration to support program/project success.

  • Makes continuous improvement a priority by leveraging experience in advanced project management principles.

  • Mentors project management resources and project team members to share knowledge and/or serve as an internal coach.

  • Drive implementation excellence, by conducting regular lessons learned feedback throughout the implementation and communicating to the SME.

  • Serve as an escalation point for the assigned project teams.

  • Work with sales to drive opportunities discovered throughout the engagement with assigned customers.

  • Provide and drive recommendations for process improvements opportunities.

  • Aware of scope throughout the implementation and documented escalation and outcome with leadership.

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Aware of and comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years’ experience in project management, or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years progressive experience in project management).

  • PMP Certification

  • Previous Healthcare IT / medical imaging project management experience.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills with strong executive presence.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to transfer knowledge to others and communicate technology to senior management and customers in laymen's terms.

  • Superior negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills and a high level of business acumen.

  • Strong empathy appropriate for partnering at all levels.

  • Excellent relationship and leadership abilities.

  • Results driven.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Change management experience

  • Problem resolution and creativity in solution development

  • Vendor implementation experience

  • Experience managing revenue generating projects

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $107,120.00-$160,680.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
