Job Description Summary

Ge Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced supply chain professional to become a Next Generation Planning Materials Process Manager on the Materials Management Center of Excellence team! Main activities you'll be involved in are supporting Master Data governance and ingestion into Next Generation tools, helping define current and future state processes to align to best-in-class standards, and implementing our Next Generation software for Materials Management on Internally and Externally procured items. Additionally, you'll be supporting Regional and Strategic Business Units (RBU/SBU) with optimization opportunities by leveraging improved Wing 2 Wing visibility, and generative AI/ML support. This role will be essential in helping prepare and train the supply chain for the next evolution in Planning tools and processes.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Review existing material processes, tools, and standard operating procedures to find opportunities to align to industry best practice.

  • Ensure future operational planning process alignment between business leadership and the SBU based teams through cross-functional engagement.

  • Helping to deploy Wing to Wing planning tool to all GE HealthCare manufacturing and distribution sites.

  • Analyze inventory optimization and process improvement opportunity keeping total landed cost and Customer fulfillment as the guiding targets.

  • Use prior experience, acquired technical expertise, and inter-personal communication skills to execute Central materials strategies.

  • Continue developing in-depth knowledge of Planning tools through site interactions and incorporating best practices from Global teams.

  • In-depth understanding of related key performance indicators (KPI); using this understanding to accomplish posted business/team targets.

  • Working independently in a hybrid environment on a highly skilled global team, managing off-shift calls supporting work-life balance

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or solid experience in Supply Chain focused on Materials Management, Sourcing, or Inventory

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate virtually.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner in cross-functional teams and to influence peers in process adoption.

  • Kinaxis Rapid Response experience (deployment experience a plus)

  • Experience in Oracle or SAP ERP/MRP software.

  • Proven track record of delivery to relevant KPIs

Desired skills

  • Strong experience in Supply Chain focused on Materials Management, Sourcing, or Inventory

  • Strong analytical and process skills. Incredible focus on measurement and reporting for all standard processes.

  • Proven ability to navigate and influence at multiple levels within the organization.

  • Kinaxis Rapid Response deployment experience in a large-scale environment

  • Healthcare (preferably medical device) product experience and industry acumen

  • Comfortable with change and leading through influence. Demonstrates flexibility and agility, where needed.

  • Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams and outside vendors.
