Job Description Summary

As the Surgery Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for the OEC Surgical C-Arm Products. This role is the clinical expert for the Midlands territory.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Achieve Product orders and sales target for the Midlands territory

• Ensure pricing compliance

• Forecast orders and sales within the sales funnel tools and reports for their products

• Create territory plans including opportunity development, strategies and targets

• Build strong customer relationships

• Ensure the needs of customer are met and maintain customer contact records

• Grow and maintain a network of key stakeholders

• Track and communicate market trends

• Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of their product

• Present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits to customers

• Develop their understanding of the customers changing clinical issues and challenges

• Create viable product set ups which meet customer needs effectively, while achieving optimum margin for GE

• Differentiate and promote assigned product offerings using GE marketing resources

• Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote product and company

• Identify and create new opportunities and work with sales leaders and account teams

• Drive sales process including the needs qualification, vendor selection, quotation and closure of their product to maximize customer satisfaction

• Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules

• One GE Healthcare teamwork

• Contribute to account plans at accounts covered by Account Managers

• Educates account team members on their products

• Share and follow-up identified leads to other product lines

• Adhere to and uphold highest standards of compliance

Qualifications

• Clinically trained in Surgery or equivalent role experience and knowledge

• Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry

• Excellent communication skills and customer focused

• Ability to build business relationships at all levels within an organization

• Fluent in English

• Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages

• Excellent organizational skills

• Desire to obtain a commercial role

• Strong presentation skills

• Able to travel within territory

• Valid motor vehicle license

Desired Skills

• Commercial experience or desire to work in a customer facing role would be beneficial

• Proven ability to demonstrate and present
