GE Healthcare Product Specialist Surgery Norway in Remote, Norway

Job Description Summary

As a Product Specialist for the Surgery business in Norway you will be responsible for the commercial processing for our market leading GE OEC C-arms . You will create and establish new, maintain existing and develop strong relationships with departmental, clinical and technical decision makers in the accounts. You will be hands-on in demonstrating the quality and functionality of the products in the surgical departments of the hospitals. A strong combination of demonstrated clinical understanding and commercial understanding will be needed. You will lead our growth ambitions to be at level or exceed the rest of Europe.

This function will report directly to the Nordic and Netherlands Surgery Modality Manager but will also be strongly integrated with the Norway sales team and report dotted line to the Norway Country Sales Manager, Imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the GE Healthcare Surgery revenue in Norway

  • Being in the lead of all commercial activities of the sales process from identifying to sign off the deal, including after sales attention

  • Identify and develop a thorough local Key Opinion Leader network and sustainable management of this network

  • Work in close collaboration with the Account Manager, Segment Manager, Order Management Team, Service Team and the Country Business Leader

  • Watch trends in the market, have a deep understanding of the market, reports back essential information to the dedicated teams

  • Differentiate our products during the sales process, effectively using GE HealthCare resources and our Value Proposition to actively support the customer through their decision-making process towards a successful outcome for the customer, patient and GE HealthCare.

Required Qualifications

This role requires advanced experience in capital sales. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Practical experience may be of equal importance as education.

  • Strong commercial sales experience

  • Proven track record in the Medical Devices industry, preferably in the area of diagnostic imaging or surgery

  • Preferably knowledge and understanding of workflows in a healthcare biomedical and IT environment

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Willing to take responsibility and ownership

  • Enthusiastic with a positive can-do/will-do” attitude

  • Teamplayer

  • Being an example for the rest of the team

  • Fluent verbal and written Norwegian and English is a must
